Habitat Volunteer Opportunity! Great for NHS and Key Club Hours!

Hello!

The Children's Museum of Fond du Lac and Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac have a wonderful opportunity to do a little FUNdraising and we are looking for local, responsible volunteers to join us! With the world-class Walleye Weekend festivities in our backyard, we offer close-by parking at our facility! We are looking for “Parking Lot Attendants” to welcome and collect fees from visitors. Shifts will begin Friday afternoon on June 8th and run till Sunday afternoon on June 10th in 2.5 hour increments. Round up your friends, enjoy the sunshine and support area non-profits. To learn more or sign up contact Olivia from Habitat at 920-921-2893 or volunteer@habitatfdl.org.

Respectfully,
Olivia Blauert

Exceptional Students!

Exceptional Students!

If eight, 6th graders can make a difference, anyone can make a difference. These eight students took it upon themselves to raise money for a local charity during Oakfield Middle School’s Family Fun Night.  Sydney W., Hannah G., Aly L., Lily F., Stella H., Chloe G., Sara T., and Natalie F. sold candy, popcorn, and made bracelets that were sponsored by their families. These ladies were able to raise and donate $52.00 to the Fond du Lac Humane Society.

A message from the girls: We would like to help more organizations by planting a community garden or by giving food to a food drive. Either way, we know we can make a difference. We just wanted to thank everyone who donated and those who helped make our fundraiser successful! See, anyone can make a difference!
