Meet Mrs. Doyle
This is my thirteenth year teaching at Oakfield Elementary School. I have taught eight years in third grade and five years in second grade. Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky to teach such wonderful students. Oakfield Elementary is a great place where I truly enjoy being around such enthusiastic students, staff, and parents.
I graduated from Marian College in December of 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also minored in computer education, so I often put computers to use in my classroom and in our school. I completed my Masters in Technology in 2004, but I look forward to continuing my education throughout my teaching career.
I grew up in Lomira, and still reside there with my husband Dennis. We have been blessed with three healthy, happy children. Hannah is in 5th grade, Emma in 1st grade, and Dawson in 4K. They are the loves of our life, and we enjoy every minute we spend with them!
I love to stay active with my family. I grew up playing a lot of sports, so I have continued the passion by coaching softball, basketball, and soccer for my daughters’ teams throughout the past couple of years. It has allowed me to be a teacher outside the classroom as well. Our family also enjoys traveling, playing board games and games on our Wii, or just hanging out with a good movie and popcorn. I love to take a lot of pictures to use in photo books and slideshows to help us remember all the great memories. I carry this passion into the classroom as well. I usually have a camera on my desk most days.
In my classroom, I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect. I work hard to build a sense of community among my students, and I emphasize the idea of teamwork. I value cooperation and collaboration both in my classroom and as I work with my peers. I believe that great things can happen when we work together! Oakfield Elementary is a place where I really feel like part of a strong community and part of a winning team.
