I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach at Oakfield Middle School this year! I grew up in Waupun, but fell in love with this district when I completed half of my student teaching experience at the elementary school. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a major in elementary and middle school education and a minor in language arts. I've always enjoyed reading a variety of books and journaling. I believe that being able to read and write are some of the most important life skills for students. I hope to assist my middle school students in the development of these important life skills! In my free time, I enjoy playing and coaching volleyball. I played volleyball at Ripon College for a year, before transferring to UW-Oshkosh. I am currently a club volleyball director and coach for a club out of Waupun. I was an assistant coach for the Waupun High School team this past fall, and then the 8th grade volleyball coach here at Oakfield this past winter. Other than this, I enjoy going for hikes, traveling, playing board games with my family, and watching movies. I look forward to meeting everyone in the fall!
