He received his teaching license in Technology Education in 2020.
Mr. Daane began his teaching career in 2019 as a substitute teacher in the Lomira School District. He went on to serve for one year as a substitute at Oakfield Middle/High School, followed by a year as a Technology Education and Agriculture teacher in the Princeton School District. He then spent one year teaching in Waupun before returning to Oakfield in the 2023–2024 school year, where he continues to teach Technology Education.
Outside of school, Mr. Daane enjoys home improvement projects as well as spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Abby—who also teaches in the Oakfield School District—were married in 2020. Together they have one daughter, Charlotte, who will attend Oakfield schools, as well as a Goldendoodle named Sophie who many students know and love from her visits to the Agriculture Classroom.
