Meet Ms. Seager
Hello, my name is Grace Seager. I have been a Speech-Language Therapist in the Oakfield School District since 2000. Prior to that, I worked in the Dodgeland and Horicon School Districts for 4 years. I graduated with my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin -- Oshkosh. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and helping others. I have a very "open door" policy and invite you to stop in my office at the Oakfield Elementary School. I am often asked for advice from parents on things they can try first at home and am more than willing to share my ideas and/or brainstorm with you.
I have experience working with a range of children, mild to severe. I currently provide one-to-one, small group and in class therapy on a daily basis to students within the school district. I also work closely with teachers/staff on a daily basis so that students can flourish within their classroom environment.
As I am the only SLP within the Oakfield School District, I service ages 3 through high school. Prior to 3 years of age, Birth to Three is responsible for assessing and providing therapy in all areas of child development. Upon a child turning 3, the local school district is responsible for providing services to those children in need.
