Growing up in Brownsville, she brings a deep connection to the community and a passion for teaching that has spanned nearly three decades. Julie began her career teaching 5th grade for two years before moving on to teach 2nd grade for 18 years. She has since found her home in 3rd grade, where she continues to inspire young minds.
Julie got her Elementary/Middle Education teaching degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College and a Masters in Reading from UW-Oshkosh, which further fuels her commitment to fostering literacy and a love of learning in her students.
Outside of the classroom, Julie lives near Lamartine with her husband Jeff and their two daughters, Jaiden and Justice. In her free time, Julie loves spending quality time with her family and taking trips up north, where they enjoy the peaceful outdoors.
Julie is known for her warm approach to teaching, dedication to student success, and her love for building strong foundations for lifelong learning.
