Spanish Teacher Email Phone: 920-583-3141 ¡Hola! I’m Nicholas Kaminski (I go by Nico or Profe Kaminski), and I’ve been teaching Spanish at Oakfield since 2021. I was born and raised in Racine, WI, and my love for the Spanish language and culture has shaped much of my life. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2012, and later, my Master’s degree in Spanish from Marquette University in 2015, where I also worked as a teaching assistant.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of traveling extensively to Spanish-speaking countries, including Cuba, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, and Nicaragua. These experiences have greatly influenced my teaching, and I love organizing student trips to these countries. Seeing students immerse themselves in another culture and language is truly rewarding—it’s an unforgettable experience for them and for me!
When I’m not teaching, I love to make the most of Wisconsin summers. I spend a lot of time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and exploring national parks. I also enjoy photography and capturing the beauty of nature.
In 2024, I married my partner, Kenton, and we enjoy spending time together with our families. My personal and professional life revolves around connection—whether it's through language, travel, or spending time with loved ones.
