HS English / Language Arts Email Phone: 920-583-3141 Shannon Lagore has been teaching, advising, and cheering at Oakfield High School since the 21-22 school year. After graduating from UW-Stevens Point in the winter of 2020 and a brief stint as a long term sub, she has truly found her home with the Mighty Oaks. Ms. Lagore teaches the required Sophomore and Junior English classes, AP Literature (alternating years), and a variety of electives.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Lagore also advises the Key Club and the Academic Bowl team. Reach out if you ever have need for students to volunteer and serve! While she hasn't done much sporting since her high school swimming days, Ms. Lagore can often be found at her students' sports games yelling, "DO THE THING, WIN THE POINTS!"
At home, Ms. Lagore has a houseful of love with her two cats, Chip and Winnie, and her dog Arthur. She plays Dungeons and Dragons on a regular basis, reads a lot, and consumes too much coffee.
She loves being able to help her students expand their worldview by reading.
