Hello Oakfield! My name is Terra Kind and I am excited for another great year as the Middle School Special Education Teacher. I have taught for many years and worked with students from Early Childhood to seniors in high school. I am grateful for the variety of experiences I’ve had over my career, especially the opportunity to learn from my colleagues at all levels. I am constantly inspired and amazed at how much I can learn and grow right along with my students, and I love doing that with the staff and students at OMS.

Prior to teaching, I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Continuing my education over the years, I am currently certified to teach special education pre-K through 12, regular education 1-8, and reading. I am excited to use my education, experiences, and training to support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.

Outside of teaching, I love hanging out with my husband Brian, our 3 kids, and our little dog Daisy. Brian and I love the craziness of parenting, but also enjoy rare quiet nights when they are all a bit busy! We are fortunate to have many friends and family in the area, and we love spending time with them as well.
